Not from my experience,,, A long time ago (it seems like it now anyways) when I worked in pediatrics we had a lot of kids who just had their tonsils taken out but not the adenoids... course we are talking about 15 years ago,, I will look for more information when I return to work on Monday on the website we have for patient information handouts and see what I can find. I think a lot of the more prominet research is that if one is causing problems they remove both while they are in doing the procedure,, but like I said I can research it better when I can access it from work... will let you know.

Does anyone have any experience with the removal of these? The more I research the more I see Adnoids and Tonsils removed at the same time. Is there any reason to do them both at the same time if the tonsils are not causing any problems?
